An amazing find, this vintage Hanuman pendant has loads of symbolism and history. A village folk style of silver detail, this piece along with its floral motifs has five ornate bails that perfectly line the heart shape piece. This Hindu Deity is thought to be one of the reincarnations of Lord Shiva, with the ability to leap over breadths with little effort as well as the ability to shape shift, he is the symbol of physical strength determination and devotion. Still marked with ceremonial Tikka, you see Hanuman in the leap position holding healing herbs for Lord Rama which whom he is devoted too and in the other a mace to represent courage.
