With a blend of Kantha and Banjara stich work this baby is a one of a kind Eastern Soul fusion. Kantha originating from the Bengal region of India, it remains one of India’s oldest embroidery techniques. Using recycled saris and Dhotis to create new garments for various use. This piece would have been an Oaar (pillow cover) with geometric designs it has been recreated as the Bajara Galla acts as a centrepiece with mirror work and cowrie shells it turns this baby into a modern tribal must have.
